About publications

A publication records a piece your firm has written — an article, book chapter, client briefing or conference paper. It is the thought-leadership half of your track record, alongside matters, which record work actually done.

Directories routinely ask what a team has published, and treat it as evidence of genuine expertise rather than marketing. A maintained list turns that question into a lookup.

Publications are also the easiest part of a submission to lose. They are written by individuals, published externally, and rarely reported back to whoever assembles submissions — so they exist, but nobody can find them in March.
