Approve a description

Why approval matters

A description in draft does not appear on presentations or submissions. When someone reports that an industry’s text is missing from a pitch, an unapproved description is the first thing to check.

Approval is per description and per language, so an industry can have an approved English text and a draft translation.

Steps

  1. In the left menu bar, click industries under the Firm heading.

Step 1

  1. Open the record you want to work with.

Step 2

  1. On the industry, open the Descriptions tab.

Step 3

  1. Click Approve description.

Step 4

  1. The description is now used on presentations and submissions in that language.
