Share a presentation

Overview

Presentations are shared as a link rather than a file. The client opens it in a browser, always sees the current version, and you can see that they opened it.

Sharing is what turns a draft into something a client can see, so it is worth checking the presentation reads correctly before you generate the link.

Permission required

You need Pitch: read or Pitch: create. Ask an administrator if the page is not visible to you.

Steps

1. In the left menu bar, click presentations.

2. Open the record you want to work with.

3. On the presentation, click Share presentation.

4. Copy the generated link and send it to your client.

Caution

Anyone with the link can open the presentation. Treat it as you would an unprotected email attachment — send it to the intended recipient only.
